Toastmaster

Glossophobia - fear of public speaking is considered to be one of the top most fears that troubles people all over the globe. Sweaty palms, dry mouth, quickened heart rate are some of the fight-or-flight responses which people undergo when they have to face the audience. Surprisingly, fear of Glossophobia has surpassed necrophobia - fear of dead. When facing huge gathering, we stutter and stammer not because we fear speaking but it's the fear of rejection. It's not only being embarrassed and judged that bothers one but also ostracism. We fear being kicked out of the social groups that we even fail to make a start.

If you are one of those who suffer ostracism then Toastmasters is for you.

Toastmasters Internation gives you a platform to learn the art of public speaking along with leadership development.

I'm good at speaking and I lead a team at work, I don't need something thing called Toastmaster.

Really ? How many times have you completed presentations/speeches well in time and with all your points delivered?

Well, practically that's not always the case.

Have you ever completed your speech without using unwanted fillers like so, you know, ahhh etc ?

Well, not always and most of the times we fall into a trap of using unwanted words.

How many times, do you get an opportunity to erase your mistakes while you lead or speak?

Well, never. You are often judged and you can only cry over the spilled milk.

At toastmasters, you learn without worrying about being judged, you learn without fearing ostracism. you learn to manage time well and develop your leadership skills without losing anything. Along with this, you also get an opportunity to use your creative abilities and network with people with different backgrounds who help you to learn and unlearn.

It is a platform to unleash your potential.

"You can speak well if your tongue can deliver the message of your heart" - John Ford
